Safety, Security & Policies
McLane Stadium and Paul & Alejandra Foster Pavilion
Animals
Policy: Service animals are welcome. All other animals will not be allowed to enter.
Reason: A service animal is trained to perform tasks for an individual with a disability.
Artifical Noisemakers
Policy: Rules do not permit artificial noisemakers to be brought into or used in either facility.
Reason: Baylor University implemented this rule in order to prevent the distraction of the artists and entertainers and to enhance the experience of all event attendees.
Bags & Backpacks
Policy: Must be clear plastic vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12”x 12”x 6” or a small clutch bag no larger than 4.5”x 6.5”x 3”. Prohibited bags include, but are not limited to: backpacks, briefcases, camera bags, cinch bags, computer bags, coolers, diaper bags, duffle bag, fanny packs, luggage, any other bag deemed to not meet the clear bag policy. View the clear bag policy.
Reason: National and local security officials have designated backpacks and other bags as security risks. This policy is consistent with major arenas and sporting leagues nationwide. Unattended bags create a security threat. Bags may not be left at the gates and will be confiscated, removed and discarded immediately. Clear bag = effective and efficient screening.
Banners & Poles
Policy: Banners may not be hung and poles may not be brought into either facility unless approved by Baylor University.
Reason: Banners or poles can be a nuisance to other event attendees by obstructing their view of the stage, and can create safety concerns for those in the area.
