Turnpike Troubadours in Concert at McLane Stadium: Aug. 23, 2025
Turnpike Troubadours
The Turnpike Troubadours have resided at the forefront of the Red Dirt music scene since their 2005 debut. Their self-titled 2015 album peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard 200, one of four albums to break the top 20 on the U.S. country charts.
No less an authority than Rolling Stone called the Troubadours the "torchbearer" for Red Dirt music, and countless other Oklahoma artists (including country music star Zach Bryan) cite the band as an inspiration for their own work.
The Oklahoma natives released their latest effort, "The Price of Admission," in April 2025 -- around the same time they were performing four sold-out shows with Cross Canadian Ragweed at Oklahoma State University's Boone Pickens Stadium. The album debuted at #1 on the iTunes all-genre and country charts, and earned the group its highest Spotify chart debuts to date.
